    The meaning of the geometries

The purpose of art is to define shapes with meanings. In this project, I learned how regularity is created by various geometric shapes.

Eco-Life Housekeeper advocates the life philosophy of simple, high quality, eco-friendly, and the idea of recycling. This company collects garment oddments all over the country and transforms them into living goods after a strict screening, design, and manufacturing process. It attempts to promote green lifestyles.

My design inspiration came from the shapes of garment oddments which can be summarized into three basic patterns: triangle, circle, and square, which define the general shapes of the oddments. Regarding the meaning of these geometries, a triangle represents the basic structure of the stability of the ecological system; a circle reflects the recycling and reuse of a green life; square can be regarded as stringent management rules and methods. All these concepts are complying with the manufacturing method and the environmental protection idea of Eco-Life Housekeeper.
